Wildflower Sparkling
Wildflower is a new label and part of the famous Robert Oatley group in Australia. The winemaker here is the 2023 IWSC Winemaker of the Year, Larry Cherubino. There’s two reasons to buy this wine, the third reason is that this is just fabulous festive fizz. We loved the Wildflower Chardonnay, so when the opportunity came to add this to the range, we jumped at the opportunity. Stone fruits and apples greet the palate, and there is a charming nuttiness to enjoy too.

Trashumante Garnacha
A hearty, rustic, flavourful wine named in honour of the ‘trashumante’, a nomadic group of shepherds who historically roamed the countryside with their herds on the hills of Navarra, where this wine hails from. A wine made from 100% Garnacha, this is a medium bodied red featuring mild tannins, juicy raspberry fruit and a hint of spice on the finish.

Coquille de Fleur Rosé
Well, it’s not from Provence. But does it need to be when the wine is this good?
Fabulously fruit forward and vibrant, big berry aromas fill the glass, wild raspberry and candied strawberry notes are followed by a lively, well-balanced palate with a refreshing minerality on the finish. This is THE rosé.

Big Beltie Sauvignon Blanc
From the Gascony region in the South of France, the Big Beltie Sauvignon Blanc is simply, and subtly, splendid. We have always been firmly on the ‘less is more’ side of the argument when it comes to Sauv, and this wine is just that - delicate and disarming. Aromas of lemon blossom, green apple and grapefruit are followed by an explosion of crisp, dry citrus flavours and a lingering finish.

Cune Organic Rioja
Organic winemaking has increased markedly in the last fifteen or so years, from smaller independent producers to larger, prestigious companies like CVNE, or Cune, in Spain. In this easy drinking, modern take on a Rioja, only grapes grown organically across CVNE’s vineyards are used in the wine, where aromatic notes of fruits of the forest are supplemented by a long, balanced finish.

Cave de l'Ormarine Rosé
Made by prolific Picpoul producer Cave de l'Ormarine, this rosé is a fun distraction from the serious business of the day job. Made from red grapes from vineyards near the Étang de Thau, the seawater lagoon that helps moderate the temperatures in the vineyards in this hot part of France, the Villemarin Rosé boasts red berries on the nose and savoury red fruits on the palate. Delicious with appetizers.
