World Malbec Day &
World Sauvignon Blanc Day
Malbec World Day, on a sliding scale, probably sits somewhere between World Health Day and International Cookie Day. Now in its fifteenth year, each 17th April, Wines of Argentina invite you to celebrate their signature grape, its history, its versatility and its significance as one of the world’s most popular varietals. A successful campaign that showcases not just the wonderful world of Malbec but also the brilliance of WofA in championing the grape that really put its country on the wine map. Indeed, every other variety now has its own ‘day’ stretched out across the calendar as a result of WofA’s proactive approach to championing Malbec.
Taking their lead from their South American counterparts, World Sauvignon Blanc Day is honoured by Wine Growers of New Zealand on the first Friday in May every year in an annual celebration of the world’s favourite white grape. Of course, Sauvignon Blanc, like Malbec, has its origins in France, which is where the majority of the Sauvignon Blanc across our range hails from. We will be joining the celebrations this month with some appealing offers on all our Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc.
